The three books in this series take you on a journey into the lives of Jonah and Calla as they navigate life, love, and heartache. Their journey is so pleasing, that you feel like you are apart of their lives and the way the author describes Alaska, will make you want to hop on a plane and experience it all for yourself.
Book 1 – The Simple Wild: Unable to handle the isolation of the extreme, rural lifestyle, Calla’s mother fled Alaska when she was two leaving behind Wren, Calla’s father. Now as a twenty-something year old living in Toronto, Calla finds out her estranged father is sick, and she decides to go to Alaska to see him. While she struggles to adjust to this rugged environment, Jonah the unkempt, and obnoxious, Alaskan pilot who helps keep her father’s charter plane company operational can’t imagine calling anywhere else home. Jonah’s disapproval of Calla has him ready to fly her home, but Calla is determined to prove him wrong. Their constant bickering is soon replaced by friendship or perhaps is it something deeper. Read the next title to find out!
Book 2 – Wild at Heart: With Jonah on her mind, Calla returns to Toronto where she struggles to find the direction she wants to go with her life. Is she following her mother’s footsteps from all those years ago? Can she really uproot her life and make a real go at a relationship with Jonah in Alaska? All questions are answered when Jonah appears on her doorstep with a proposition she can’t refuse. Facing many obstacles and compromises the two are determined to make this work, for the sake of their hearts. But can they?
Book 3 – Forever Wild: This holiday is in full swing and Jonah and Calla are getting ready to celebrate with their families, who will be meeting for the first time in Alaska. Calla is looking forward to spending time with her family, but Jonah is dreading the time with his stepfather. The plan was to have a nice holiday together but that proves to be difficult when holiday calamites get in the way and the added pressure of setting a wedding date. Can the families put aside their drama and will Calla and Jonah finally get their happy ending?

Exciting news for those who loved this series as much as I did, a forth book called Running Wild will be available soon.
