The Canadian government works to improve equality for members of LGBTQ2 communities through the development of inclusive federal policies, programs and laws.
The launch of the Pride campaign in June promotes the identities of anyone who self-identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and/or Two-Spirit, as well as individuals who may use different terms to refer to their orientation or identity and expression.

This cheerful board book for tiny tots features lesbian mothers in diverse, loving families. The smart and stylish book follows busy moms and their kids throughout a typical day.
My Two Dads and Me by Michael Joosten
This inclusive and humorous board book celebrates same-sex parents. It shows that families come in all forms and love is always the primary ingredient.
Daddy, Pappa and Me by Leslea Newman
This heartwarming board book features soft, realistic illustrations that expand the text told from an infant’s perspective on spending the day with its daddies.
Pride Puppy by Robin Stevenson
This cute, inclusive ABC book is a child’s first introduction to a Pride parade. Although intended for ages 3-5, it is an engaging primer on the warmth and power of community.
