Outreach
Whether you are introducing kids to the joys of reading, organizing a community event, or looking for support as a homebound user —we welcome the opportunity to connect with you!
Books By Mail
If you can’t physically make it to one of our branches, we can work with you to keep you well supplied with library materials for as long as necessary.

Can’t access the library in person? We can either send you books by request or we can choose books we think you will enjoy. This service is intended for patrons who have limited mobility, illness, unreliable transportation, or who are temporarily homebound. In other words, if you can’t physically make it to one of our library branches, we can work with you to keep you well supplied with library materials for as long as necessary. Contact Julie at 613-354-4883 ext. 3371 for more information
Among Friends
Delivering library books to Amherstview and Napanee patrons who cannot travel to the library.

We work with volunteer drivers from VON to deliver library materials to users who struggle to make it to the library in person and reside with the limits of Amherstview and Napanee. Library staff will work with to ensure the materials you receive reflect your preferences. For more information, please contact Marg (Napanee) at 613-354-2525 or Kim (Amherstview) at 613- 389-6006.
