After a two year hiatus, we’re pleased to announce the culminating event for our One BookOne L&A community reading program!

Bryn Turnbull, author of this year’s featured book The Last Grand Duchess is visiting our Amherstview branch library on Sunday, October 2nd at 1pm. What a treat it will be to kick off Canadian Library Month with a visit from a bestselling Canadian author!

Bryn Turnbull is known for her meticulously researched historical novels that succeed at breathing life into lesser known (yet endlessly fascinating) women who existed at the periphery of major world events. The Last Grand Duchess tells the captivating yet tragic story of Olga Romanov, the eldest daughter of Tsar Nicholas and sister to Anastasia.
