Book Clubs
Book Clubs are an important part of the reading ecosystem. They are a great way for you to discover new books and connect with fellow readers. The library runs in-house book clubs, but we also support book clubs in the wider community.

Amherstview
The Amherstview Book Club reads fiction and non-fiction books based on a theme. Past themes have included Nordic Wisdom, Diversity in History, and Best Beach Reads.

Napanee
The Napanee Book Club meets in person to discuss a popular title each month. Past books discussed include The Alice Network, Where the Crawdads Sing, and All My Puny Sorrows.

Book Club Hub
Our book club hub is an informal Facebook group where community members can share the books they are loving and hating, and learn about titles gaining momentum on the book club scene.
Book club sets
Are you in a book club or thinking about starting one? Our book club sets are designed to help make organizing book groups easy and affordable. Each set includes eight copies of a popular book club book, including Five Little Indians, The Midnight Library, and A Gentleman in Moscow. Contact Julie at (613) 354-4883 ext. 3371 to reserve a set for your club.
Hoopla Book Club Hub
Each quarter, Hoopla releases a new Spotlight Selection title, along with materials including a discussion guide and exclusive author interview. Every title on Hoopla is available instantly with no waiting. Book clubs of all sizes will love being able to access their title on hoopla all at the same time. Everyone can start reading or listening right away, simultaneously, with their choice of ebook or audiobook.
Partnership with Books on Main
Books on Main, our local indie book store in Bath, offers members of library book clubs (and library-affiliated book clubs) 15% off your club’s book of the month. Books on Main also runs its own book club and offers users 15% off of their monthly spotlighted title
